Three days before the start of the official summer holidays, Moritz participated as 'Young Scientist' in the Ornothology Camp of the Max Planck Institute. Tobi drove him all the way to the south of France. Aim of the multi-annual project is a survey of the blackbird regarding their migratory behaviour to deduce the influence of climate change.

My friend Steffi and her 3-year-old daughter Marla visited us for almost a week. When Marla was born, she already looked like a little version of her mom, and it is stunning for me to see that three years later, nothing much changed. She makes faces just like Steffi, and they resemble each other a lot, just their temperaments differ a lot! After they left, life seems a little boring without a demanding kindergartner.
