Nadja is one of my former classmates whom I hadn`t met for a really long time. Thanks to our class reunion this february, we got back in touch and she came visiting with her gorgeous husband and kids.

Berlin, 15.08.2018 Destructiveness

This one really left me speechless. I had been watering our school garden for the first weeks of the summer holiday to make all the beautiful plants grow, especially to make all the beautiful vegetables grow... until one day, I came and opened the door to a big construction site, with all of our elevated flower beds gone and destroyed. So here is what is left: a flattened area, with the heavy metal contamination still present.

There are still areas around that need to be explored. For the visit of my friend Uli, we tried something not too far away from home: the vine kiosk next to the Ruedesheimer Platz. You can buy vine by glass or by bottle and water at a fair price and take it with you to the adjacent park to share it with friends or family. Nice!
