My uncle Norbert turned 70 this month and he threw a fabulous party for his closest friends and family. If I ever turn 70, I want to party exactly like this. With lovely homemade food, touching stories, funny songs and great company. Thanks for having us!

In my hometown, it is an old tradition to cut a birch tree for the one you love in the night before May 1st. It is then to be decorated and put up in front of the place your loved one lives. All secretly and quietly, to show your love and respect. I miss this in Berlin!

Berlin, 13.06.2019 Farewell

To me, they will forever stay "my first class". As farewell trip, they chose to do laser-tag, and it made my day to see them happy hitting me and their sports teacher hard. I will miss them. But life goes on.
