My aunt Iga is 87 and rarely driving her car anymore, a skyblue Fiat Punto. Since we don`t own a car, she gave it to us to have a car for a novice driver to use and we are grateful to have it. So at 46, I own a car for the first time in my life! A lot of memories came up, the car is as old as Mia (2006) and therefore doesn`t have navigation, air conditioning or parking aid, but it does have a cassette recorder. I did not keep any tapes but one I secretely recoreded in 1995. So I listened to it almost 30 years after and it was such fun to remember a time long gone by.

In Shanghai in 2005, I bought a colourful CD just because of its cheerful cover. At home, I put it on and for me, but especially for Moritz, it was love at first sight. He loved it from the first song to the last, and I honestly think, it was the last album ever I know every song by heart. Life in cartoon motion. So I was happy to do him the favor of buying tickets for Mikas concert in Berlin and the two of us went and enjoyed the show.

Today, our friend Jessi celebrated her birthday at a friends place in Rixdorf, in the middle of Neukoelln. And it felt like a calm farmyard in the middle of a chaotic vibrant city neighbourhood.
